The 2nd All India Vedanta Open National Karate Championship was held on April 4 and 5 at Jharsuguda Sports Complex Auditorium. Organized by Vedanta Martial Arts Training Centre in collaboration with the National Karate Foundation, this championship featured over 300 athletes from Assam, Bihar, Jharkhand, Odisha, Chhattisgarh, Uttar Pradesh, and Maharashtra, among other states, showcasing exceptional training, discipline, and skill. Each match was charged with enthusiasm, confidence, and a relentless desire to win.
Vedanta Chief Secretary Om Prakash Choudhary, attending as the chief guest, lauded the athletes for their hard work and dedication. He emphasized the need for physical, mental, and moral growth in young people. Harmeet Sehra, CSR Head at Vedanta Aluminium Sector, graced the closing ceremony as the chief guest and presented awards to the winners.
