In Jharsuguda, a woman allegedly killed her two children and attempted suicide in the Oram Pada area under the airport police jurisdiction. Sources indicate that the woman was taken to the district main hospital in critical condition before being transferred to Burla for advanced treatment.
Reports suggest that she used a Paniki, a sharp object typically employed for cutting vegetables, to harm her children before attempting to take her own life. Police have arrived at the scene to initiate an investigation, while a scientific team has also been dispatched for further examination.
